How the HypeSquad quiz assigns a house
The HypeSquad Online quiz assigns you to Bravery, Brilliance, or Balance based on weighted answers to a short personality questionnaire. There is no correct house and no difference in what each unlocks; the only outcome is which badge appears on your profile. Because the badge is difficult to change afterwards, most people who care about the result want to steer it rather than leave it to chance.
Answers weight toward houses along fairly readable lines. Options framing action, risk, and immediacy tend toward Bravery. Options framing analysis, planning, and knowledge tend toward Brilliance. Options framing moderation, compromise, and adaptability tend toward Balance. No single answer decides the outcome, so leaning consistently in one direction across the quiz is what determines the result.
Changing houses later is not a normal user-facing setting. Retaking the quiz is not generally available, and house changes have historically required support intervention that is not guaranteed. That is the practical reason to decide which badge you want before you start, rather than answering honestly and hoping the result matches.
